Champagne Bruno Michel, Pierry, Champagne, France, Organic and Vegan Certified
Bruno Michel is an organic winegrower. He started a vine nursery in the 1980s, and founded an estate with his wife Catherine in Pierry in 1985, a few km south of Epernay. Their 12-hectare vineyard is composed of over 35 parcels, planted with 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Meunier and the rest Pinot Noir.
Their champagnes are made in the same village, in vaulted, limestone caves, which offer a constant cool temperature and humidity that allow the champagnes to age slowly in order to bring out their best aromas.
Catherine and Bruno Michel first turned to biodynamic agriculture in 1998 and then transitioned to organic winemaking methods. Their fascinating and demanding work culminated in 2004 when they were awarded an Ecocert and Vegan certification.
Domaine Antonin Rodet, Burgundy, France
Antonin Rodet is rooted at heart of Cote Chalonnaise since 1875 at times of phylloxera occurring in vineyard. From generation to generation, Rodet's generations are fierce defenders of the vineyard of Southern Burgundy. They cultivate the vineyards of the Château de Rully and Château de Mercey. Their white wines are distinguished by purity and harmonious balance, while red wines are easily discernible by their consistent structure and strong aromatic potential.
Domiane Au Pied Du Mont Chauve, Burgundy, France, Biodynamic Practice
Domaine Au Pied du Mont Chauve -- this interesting name comes from a member of the famous winemaking family in Bourgogne -- Francine Picard. "Mont Chauve" means Montrachet. The winery extends over Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin communes in the heart of the most beautiful climates and soils for Bourgogne wine. The winemaking team cultivates the plots using biodynamic principles. Wines have a depth and intensity that reflect the chalky and mineral characteristics of the finest limestone soils in the world. With the appropriate usage of barrels, the taste is perfectly balanced. Fabrice Lesne is now the winemaker, and he has joined since 2010 after he left Domaine Nicolas Potel, where he was responsible for its white wine making.
Maison Foucher, Loire Valley, France, Organic Practice
Maison Foucher was founded in 1921 with amission to craft classic expressions of Loire Valley appellations at exceptional values. In 2009, the Foucher family brought on Jean Mounard as a new partner. Jean was a pioneer of the production of small batch wines from selected plots in Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Saumur-Champigny, some of which are now farmed organically.
Domaine La Celestiere, Chateaneuf Du Pape, France, Organice Practice
La Celestiere is located at several terroir in heart of ancient Chateaneuf du Pape villages. Many of their vines are close to 100 years of age. The winery is now one of the most modern domaines in Chateaneuf du Pape, and all vineyard work are done by organic practice. The winery has received extremely positive feedback from wine connoisseurs since re-launched in 2009. The wine style is prominent, pure, fruit forward and full of complexity.
Chateau le Puy

Since 1610, Chateau Le Puy's vineyards have not been affected by any chemicals. The winery practices ‘ organic ’ and ‘ biodynamic ’ viticulture. They worked on "sulphur-free" wines since 1990 and avoided to add any extra yeasts or sugars. When the time comes to bottle the wines, we ensure that the process takes place in the middle of the lunar cycle and without any filtration. The bottles are corked and protected by a wax seal.
Chateau Dalmeran, Baux de Provence, France

Located on the northern slope of Provence's Alpilles, the domaine is part of the small, quality-conscious Les Baux de Provence AOC - 85% of vineyards are now organically cultivated. Most of its vignerons practice organic viticulture, and their efforts towards sustainable, low-intervention viticulture is facilitated aided by the area's warm, dry climate, which reduces the risk of rot and disease and reduces the need for chemical interventions. Since 2000s, the domaine was already under organic conversion, and the winery received organic certified in 2010, and vegan certified in 2011.
